Golden Grasses and Blue Skys

P E R S O N A L I T Y !!! that is the best way to describe this awesome couple. Laura and Jason’s day was filled with close family and friends at a private secluded residence. The ceremony took place in a grassy field with a crystal lake for a view. Guests sat on blankets with copper buckets of cool drinks and aromatic bundles of eucalyptus and branches of cotton. A golden circle of grasses framed them to match the look and feel of the surrounding plains. For dinner the barn was hung  with party lights and tables were filled with leather guest seating drink mats and white clay plates/ candle holders designed by Convivial Production . They were then filled with yummy garden greens. Copper Moscow mule mugs lined every table. Even the table numbers hung from chairs in tin lettering. Every detail was accounted for. After dinner guest were treated to a night of dancing under the stars on the back patio. Laura’s color palette was a mix of light dusty blues and copper blush. Her wild and free flowers fit perfectly with this wild flower bride. Such a joy to work with her and this wonderful team of vendors. Blueberries, Peaches and Cream

We love new and exciting venues and  Heritage Ranch in Sedalia was the perfect location for this laid back country lace wedding. Rachel planned her wedding from her home in Saipan where her groom and her both taught at the local elementary school. Rachel was a wonderful bride who came to us with a clear idea of what she was looking for and yet still allowed us some creativity in design. This wedding day was filled with the most adorable details such as lots of children with balloons, bubbles, swings, climbing in old cars all of them finding, sharing and hiding toads. So much fun all wrapped up with a bon-fire and yard games to send the sweet couple off. This all captured by Lark Photos. Thank you Rachel and Will for choosing us to help you with your special day.

Miller/Brunker Estate Wedding

Brides inspire us!  Haley came with an amazing vision. Her wedding was to take place on her family property with their custom barn as the back drop. A elegant yet sophisticated barn wedding. With the original idea of the ceremony setup outside under an arbor and the reception in a tent Haley and her family showed true class when last minute changes had to be made due to massive amounts of rain and flooding in our area.  Quickly the family fixed up the inside of the barn for the ceremony and flipped the space into the cocktail hour and set up the reception in front of the arbor under a tent. We think this vision turned out even better than the original.  So many details and sweet memories added into this day even finishing off with an explosion of fireworks. Haley’s colors were blush, coral and cream with pops of maroon, marsala. All photos were shot by Lark Photos. We wish all the best to the happy couple
