Vintage Grace

Keera and I met at a wedding that we worked together earlier this year. Her video work blew me away and she is the sweetest person on the planet.  So imagine my delight when she contacted me to work with her on her wedding. Keera and Jacob were married in a small ceremony on her parents property. The intimate gathering of close family and friends on the back patio and field were the perfect touch for this couple’s love of simplicity. Keera’s favorite flower is the iris and getting to add these into her decor was something uniquely different and we were so excited with the results. A rich palette of gold, blue and neutrals decorated the day and as the evening set in and the air grew crisp her black leather jacket added a touch of flair. These adorable memories were captured by Christian Gideon Photography  A perfect ending to a perfect day. k32keerak15k2k6k34k20k21k7keerak24-1k25-1k40k13k8k18k28k33k3k10k27k14k35k22k26k38k39

Luxury Lodge

Dipped in fields of gold where the buffalo roam is the serene lodge of Buffalo Lodge Warm and embracing it was the perfect backdrop for Hannah and Tyler’s memorial wedding day. “The emotions flying around were hands down the strongest.. I’ve seen.
These two have a fairy tale romance, from knowing each other since they were little kids and Hannah always having a crush on her big brother’s best friend (writing MRS. Hahn} as little girls do. Who could have imagined her dreams coming true 15 years later.
The way Tyler looks at her is indescribable.
… I know that a love is more powerful than anything on this earth.”-Monphotography   Oh, how we love and adore this couple who both lost their fathers. A tweed jacket from each dad draped over a chair on each side of the aisle captured the missing but not forgotten loved ones. An Amazing and powerful day. Congrats to you both!

Misty Mansion

A little misty dew didn’t dampen this day. The Lovely Alena and Austin had the wedding of their dreams. Wanting a small getaway wedding was out of reach with a large extended family. So a compromise of a small intimate ceremony and reception with only imitate friends and family followed by a large ball with everyone invited.  Dancing way into the evening was the perfect blend mixed with down times of yard games, Antipasto bar and dessert bar of her’s and his. The personal ceremony made special with a ceremonial blanket made by the grooms mother and sprinkled with petals and herbs by mothers added a unique touch to this perfect day. Congrats to this beautiful couple.

Ruffles in Spring

This past year we had the privilege of working with wedding planner Madison Sanders Events and bringing to life this heart warming styled shoot at Longview Mansion. Not only was it so much fun to work with a great group of vendors but this dress was breathtakingly stunning and a work of art. We were so over joyed to find this spread in the current issue of EA Bride Magazine.

Destination St. Louis Wedding

We love to travel and heading to St. Louis MO it was so much fun. Being apart of the union of the Sheridan and Berry families was a weekend we won’t soon forget and will treasure in our hearts forever. Zack and Kelsey’s wedding was one of fun, family and pure love. We stayed in the Missouri Athletics Club where the reception location took place. We worked with a wonderful team of professionals from the hotel staff to event planner Megan with Mr.and Mrs. and of course photography by Alea Lovely. We enjoyed our time with these delightfully and loving families. Thank you for making us apart of yours.

Blueberries, Peaches and Cream

We love new and exciting venues and  Heritage Ranch in Sedalia was the perfect location for this laid back country lace wedding. Rachel planned her wedding from her home in Saipan where her groom and her both taught at the local elementary school. Rachel was a wonderful bride who came to us with a clear idea of what she was looking for and yet still allowed us some creativity in design. This wedding day was filled with the most adorable details such as lots of children with balloons, bubbles, swings, climbing in old cars all of them finding, sharing and hiding toads. So much fun all wrapped up with a bon-fire and yard games to send the sweet couple off. This all captured by Lark Photos. Thank you Rachel and Will for choosing us to help you with your special day.

Raspberry and Sugar Plums

The new Restoration 1894 is a breathtaking venue that has been restored back to its original luster and charm. Original hard wood floors, tin ceilings and crown molding make this the place for any event looking for a timeless look. With touches of raspberries, wine, plums and pinks with touches of oak and fern this was a feast for the eyes. A stunning gown by Modern Trousseau, the Windsor from Altar Bridal.
