Christmas Wreathing Workshop

We had a delightful Christmas Wreathing workshop this year. Many  of our dear close friends all brought together by the Christmas cheer and wonderful gathering of friendship.  The Stanley Event Space  accommodated  us with their stunning and festive historical space which made a lovely backdrop for this event. Treats and drinks of Raspberry rhubarb tarts, mini cheesecakes, tea cupcakes,Wassail, hot coco  and homemade chocolate chip cookie by  Andrea of Classic Cakes warmed the guests as the sweet aroma of pine and cedar filled the space. The gentle chatter and laughter made for a very enjoyable evening. These beautiful photos captured by Meghan Savage Photo left a lasting keepsake for our guest to see. Thank you to all who came and we are so excited about the next workshop to come.

Day and Night

We love our friends and photographers and Meghan Savage photography is one of our favorites. Her soft photos will place you in a dream land of romance and grace. We enjoy working along side her and being apart of her vision. This was a day and night inspired shoot. Starting with the soft elegant look and ending with a dark mysterious candle light look. So fun playing with the different looks. Hair by April Arnold makeup by Alexia Wambua dresses by Altar Bridal and styling and flowers by Victorian Gardens.

Earlier we posted photos from our spring photos shoot. We now are posting the second half of this shoot. This was shot in a slightly rustic look to show the little changes that you can make to accommodate your style in design. We added a wooden accents to soften this style. Spring Photo Shoot

One of the amazing thing about social media is that you are able to find and follow other artists that have similar interests. They are capable of inspiring you as your closest friends would even though you have never met. So imagine my delight, when a photographer all the way from Colorado who I had been following via Instagram, who’s work and design style left me feeling so creative contacted me. Meghan Savage Photography had recently moved to Kansas City from Colorado and was looking to work with someone. Elated! I said of course, and together we designed this stunning Spring photo shoot with the help of a few additional new, and old friends. When asked who I would recommend for a cake, of course it would have to be my dear friend and colleague Andrea Britt with Classic Cakes. Also helping out was Alter BridalOne Sparrow Creative, and Natalie Navis. So encouraged and learned much, I can’t wait to work with all of them again.
